Lamith Tramell (feat. Lina Seb)

from Enter Mynd, Part I by Blue Saint

/

about

Using extended metaphor Blue Saint raps about a fictional character named Lamith Tramell, found in his “Enter Mynd” concept series, who serves as the personification of the temptations that Blue Saint constantly faces.

He speaks of how he came to meet Lamith and how and why they fell apart.

The name Lamith is a portmanteau of Lamia and Lilith, the two chief seductresses, femme fatales, female supernatural entities and daemons found in various religions and mythologies.

lyrics

[Verse 1]
Met this girl, at a young age, never knew
She'd leave your soul amongst graves, clever too
She had no clothes, just a long beige, red and blue
Cloak that was soaked in a coat of, weathered rules
Ah, I said "Walk down my avenues?"
Her retort, "of course, ah, never thought you'd move"
From day I met her, she's never jealous, hella true
She tends to fellas, she a stellar muse
And she rocks, interesting news
Man she's got, intellectual views
She'd think better, than Internets
I had interest, to impress her
But this princess is
In skin.... An imposter
A thin imp dressed up
In sin, yes sir
Like pigskin leather
I feel thick-skinned
Shoot!
Razor Raze trooped in mute
With groups of duped brutes
Their boots, colour of soot.

[Chorus]
This bish is hell
What's her name?
Lamith Tramell
She's vicious well
What's her name?
Lamith Tramell
Like an infidel
That bring pain,
It's Lamith Tramell

[Verse 2]
Her name is, Lamith Tramell
Her frame is insane, so crisp, it melts
The brains, of the untrained, her kiss can fell,
Anyone in this plain, a risk to dwell
Right next to her, and quick they fell
In a mess, true sir, an abyss, a hell
Price of having this girl, is cruel
Vice that marries your world, she a she-devil
And Blue starting to develop
An attraction to her spell, well,
A temptress, who bench presses, men's health
Femme fatale, distress them till death
Do them part,
And when she's departed,
Part of your heart is, distorted and tarnished, uh
You had your hardships, thought you could manage, uh
But then she darted, now you feel heartsick, but
This is Morgan le Fay,
Ishtar, Delilah and Salomé, hey

[Chorus]
This bish is hell
What's her name?
Lamith Tramell
She's vicious well
What's her name?
Lamith Tramell
Like an infidel
That bring pain,
It's Lamith Tramell
